Hello! I’m Ray.
(and this is my family)
(and this is my family)
I help individuals, couples, and families discover a new and more complete understanding of themselves, their thoughts, feelings, and relationships. I work from an existential-humanistic orientation, which is just a fancy way of saying that I believe every person is unique, valuable, and has purpose. For many people, discovering that purpose is the difference between a satisfying life and an empty one. For others, fulfilling their purpose gets messy and hard. In both cases (and many others) it can be helpful to talk it all through with a trusted therapist.
Sometimes it is not clear what is going on, and a comprehensive neurofunctional and/or psychological assessment can provide helpful clarity. Together we can design a battery of tests to understand your experience and develop some recommendations for how to proceed.
With training in neuropsychology including the use of cognitive assessments and electroceuticals, I can often help in situations where talk therapy alone falls short. Trouble with attention/concentration, migraines, TBI recovery, and trauma can often be treated with a combination of therapy and neurofeedback.
Finding a therapist is hard, and therapy itself can be mysterious. I'm happy to chat by phone, explain all that I can about the process, and explore if meeting with me from time to time might be helpful for you.
A results-oriented leader with broad experience most recently in child welfare who always returns his shopping cart.
