Ray Deck III, CEO of the Year

In December 2019, I was named CEO of the Year by the Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce. This is a high honor that I feel humbled to receive. They put together a really nice video package about each of the nominees.

Ray Deck III of Skookum Kids is a dedicated and driven founder of Skookum Kids and anyone who knows him wouldn't be surprised that he was awarded the 2019 CEO of the Year award. Ray was awarded by Bank of the Pacific at the Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce's Annual Awards Dinner on Thurs., Dec.

The awards dinner was a lot of fun. Keely was able to join me, and we both enjoyed the night out sans kids. :-)

I worked hard to keep my acceptance speech brief, and as a result left out a bunch of things that I wanted to say. But in the end, I’m happy with how it came out.
